Merial

Speed Read and 3D Theater

The Merial design presented a unique challenge.  A clear path for attendee traffic flow was not readily evident due to the booth's long and narrow proportions. A series of speed reading kiosks were developed as a solution that guided attendees from one end of the booth to the other.  They followed a progression of kiosks to complete an overall challenge.  The kiosks utilized Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (RSVP), which is a process that displays words in the center of the screen and can increase reading speed by 70%. The attendees could control the speed of the words and would compete with others on speed and comprehension. This engagement allowed Merial to educate the attendees on each of their products in a fun and challenging way. A Merial representative at the end of the booth would collect all the attendees' scores, which acted as a ticket into the 3D theater.

The 3D theater served as a culminating experience to reiterate the information each attendee learned during the speed reading activity.  Finally, the high scores were added into a prize drawing after the show as an added incentive to complete the challenge.
